Wait. What you lot do at present is wait. You will probably be waiting for months.

Has anyone mentioned that getting a job with the federal authorities can be a very slow process?

I submitted my EQIP late 2014, and in June 2015 had my interview. The process is VERY LENGTHY. Depending on your location, some offices have a huge backlog. Others exercise non.

If y'all are in the DC area the wait is extremely long. This is due to the implosion of USIS. We are trying to balance immigration out old cases and keeping upward with new ones. They cannot hire investigators / special agents quick plenty and when they do it takes months for the clearance and months to get through preparation and get up to speed.

If you lot accept a question about filling out the sf-85 or sf-86 don's submit the form until you take talked to your security officeholder. Mistakes in filling out of the form are always avoidable.
